Kwara State Police Command Commissioner, CP Tuesday Assayomo, has urged leaders of religious bodies on whether to put in place security features in their places of worship, including CCTV cameras.

He said this during a security meeting with command strategic security officials at the Ilorin Police Officers’ Mess.

At Monday’s meeting, CP also advised employers of private or local guards to supplement those provided by the police.

Assayomo said the meeting was convened to review existing security strategies in the state.

Assayomo also called on motorcycle and tricycle unions in Kwara State to embark on proper profiling of existing and new members for easy identification and tracking.
